Job description

Position Summary

The Planning and Scheduling Coordinator (PSC) is the first point of contact for the majority of field service job requests, serving as the critical link between customer demand and MCC scheduling capacity. This role receives and analyzes incoming job requests via phone, email, and other submissions, confirms schedule availability against job requirements, and builds accurate work order quotes โ€” with input and direction from MCC team members as needed โ€” across the HTF, TFE, CFE, CF34, and BR710 engine platforms and the 36-100/150, RE100, and RE220 APU platforms. A strong working knowledge of maintenance service programs (such as Honeywell MSP, GE OnPoint, and similar offerings) is a critical component of accurate quote development. The PSC leads daily planning and scheduling meetings, keeps MCC Managers informed and aligned, and ensures smooth coordination when jobs are delayed or work scopes change. Strong, proactive communication โ€” both internally across TES business functions and externally with customers โ€” is essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Job Intake & Demand Analysis

  • Serve as the first point of contact for incoming field service job requests via phone, email, and other submission channels
  • Analyze job requirements and demand to determine scope and urgency
  • Confirm schedule availability against job requirements and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders

Quoting

  • Directly build work order quotes in Corridor ERP for job requests across multiple engine platforms (HTF, TFE, CFE, CF34, BR710) and APU platforms (36-100/150, RE100, RE220), incorporating input and direction from MCC team members as needed
  • Apply working knowledge of maintenance service programs โ€” including Honeywell MSP, GE OnPoint, and similar coverage plans โ€” as a major factor in accurate quote development and pricing
  • Own quote turnaround time and quality as a direct driver of KPI performance

Daily Planning & Scheduling Leadership

  • Lead the daily planning and scheduling meeting for the department
  • Perform scheduling activities in Corridor ERP and ensure all MCC Managers have the information needed to execute their work scopes

Schedule & Work scope Change Coordination

  • Coordinate with MCC Managers when jobs are pushed or work scopes change to ensure adequate coverage
  • Communicate proactively with customers when job timing or start dates change

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely within the TES business with Finance, Rental Bank, Engine and APU Shop Operations, Supply Chain, and Shipping/Receiving
  • Partner with the Sales team to ensure solid and planned work is staged correctly and ready for execution
  • Support and align with the MCC Manager, Sr. Manager of Field Service, and Director of Field Service as needed

Customer Feedback

  • Issue customer feedback/survey requests following job completion
  • Capture and relay customer feedback received through any channel โ€” phone, email, in-person, or otherwise โ€” ensuring relevant input reaches the appropriate internal stakeholders, not solely feedback gathered through formal surveys

KPI Ownership

  • Own and report on time-to-response and quote conversion metrics

Required Qualifications

  • Established knowledge of the CORRIDOR ERP system, with proficiency required for both quoting and scheduling functions
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Experience with planning and scheduling in an aviation maintenance environment or similar industry
  • Prior experience in a scheduling or coordinator role is preferred, given the cross-functional and leadership visibility of this position
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in the aviation business
  • Understanding of the business aviation market
  • Working knowledge of maintenance service programs such as Honeywell MSP and GE OnPoint
  • College degree, or equivalent experience in the business aviation market
