About The Role: 
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a temporary full-time Associate Director - Integrated Business Management to join our Supply Chain division. 

 
Formula for success:    

• Using your expertise in integrated business planning, you will establish and strengthen planning frameworks, governance, and operating rhythms that improve alignment across the organization.
• Drawing on your ability to lead through influence, you will bring together stakeholders from multiple functions to facilitate planning discussions, resolve competing priorities, and support balanced decision-making.
• You will connect strategic, operational, and financial planning activities, helping leaders understand implications, identify risks and opportunities, and make informed business decisions.
• Applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you will monitor performance, identify root causes of planning challenges, and provide actionable recommendations that improve results.
• Through effective facilitation and communication, you will guide planning forums and escalation processes, ensuring decisions are aligned, transparent, and supported by relevant information.
• Leveraging your understanding of planning processes and technology, you will support modernization initiatives and continuous improvement efforts that enhance forecasting, visibility, and decision quality.

 
Desired education & skills: 

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certifications (APICS/ASCM, Oliver Wight) are considered assets.
• 5-10 years of progressive experience in Integrated Business Planning (IBP), supply chain planning, operations, strategy, finance, business transformation, or related disciplines.
• Proven experience implementing and enhancing IBP, S&OP, or cross-functional planning frameworks within complex organizations.
• Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate strategic priorities into operational plans, KPIs, and actionable insights.
• Demonstrated success leading business process improvement, operating model design, and transformation initiatives.
• Experience with planning technologies and analytics tools such as SAP IBP, SAP S/4HANA, scenario modeling, advanced analytics, or other decision-support platforms is an asset.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and change management skills, including facilitation, influencing, negotiation, capability development, and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication, planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions; experience in healthcare, manufacturing, supply chain, biologics, or other regulated environments is an asset.

What You Can Expect

• This role will work in a hybrid environment with requirements to be onsite at one of Canadian Blood Services location at least 40% of the time/2 days of the week.
• You will work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours a day. 
• Travel up to 25% of the time to other CBS locations, as required to support business needs.
