Job description

Build What's Next: Your Enterprise Leadership Journey Starts Here
What if your first role after business school put you at the intersection of commerce, product, and AI - with the ownership to build something that didn't exist before? Join Amazon's MBA Leadership Development Program (MLDP), starting with a transformative summer internship where you'll solve real business problems with measurable customer impact.
MLDP Overview
Amazon Stores is becoming an AI-first organization - and the leaders who will shape its future aren't just operators. They're builders. MLDP is an accelerated leadership pipeline that develops product-minded enterprise leaders capable of running businesses while simultaneously reinventing how Amazon serves hundreds of millions of customers.
Your journey begins with a 12-week summer internship, where you'll own a strategic business challenge, work alongside senior leaders, and present your findings in a formal business review. Successful interns transition into the full-time, three-year MLDP - a structured development experience designed to build the commercial judgment, product thinking, and cross-functional influence that define Amazon's next generation of enterprise leaders.
Through rotational experiences spanning business ownership, product, and operations, you'll progressively take on greater scope and complexity. MLDP is more than rotations - it's Enterprise Challenges sponsored by senior leaders, executive mentorship, cohort-based development, and the opportunity to build AI-enabled capabilities and operating mechanisms that create lasting value across Amazon Stores.
Summer Internship Focus
As an MLDP intern, you'll:
- Own a strategic business problem with real P&L impact and present your solution to senior leadership
- Apply data, customer insights, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities others haven't seen
- Collaborate across functions to develop innovative, scalable business solutions
- Build relationships with executive leaders, current MLDP participants, and program alumni
- Experience Amazon's builder culture firsthand where curiosity, ownership, and invention are rewarded
Future MLDP Opportunities
Successful interns may be considered for the full three-year MLDP, which includes:
- Rotational experiences across business ownership, product, and operations - building enterprise leadership breadth
- Enterprise Challenges that put you at the center of Amazon Stores' high-priority business problems
- Executive sponsorship and structured leadership development designed to accelerate your trajectory
- A cohort of peers from the nation's top MBA programs, building careers and connections together
Join us in shaping the future of retail while developing into a next-generation business leader at one of the world's most customer-centric companies.
Key job responsibilities
MLDP seeks builders - leaders with product-minded curiosity, analytical judgment, learning agility, and a long-term orientation toward creating something better. You thrive in ambiguity, ask the right questions, influence across organizations, and see AI as a strategic advantage, not just a productivity tool. You want early P&L accountability, founder-level ownership, and a clear path to enterprise leadership at scale.
