Summary: Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University (AAMU) invites applications for Adjunct Faculty positions in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program. Adjunct faculty are part-time instructors responsible for delivering high-quality graduate instruction and supporting student learning in a professional and student-centered environment
Examples of Duties
โ€ข Teach assigned MBA courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online formats
โ€ข Prepare course materials, syllabi, and assessments aligned with program learning outcomes
โ€ข Facilitate student engagement and maintain regular communication with students
โ€ข Evaluate student performance and submit grades in a timely manner
โ€ข Maintain office hours or availability for student consultation (as required)
โ€ข Adhere to university policies, academic standards, and accreditation requirements
โ€ข Participate in limited program or departmental activities as requested
Typical Qualifications
โ€ข Earned a doctorate/terminal degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, Human Resources, Logistics, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution

โ€ข Master's degree in the teaching discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the field, if justified by professional experience (rare and subject to accreditation standards)
