Job description

Whether designing or manufacturing heavy and stationary machinery, every challenge is met with rigor, passion, and collaboration. We are currently seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented FP&A Financial Analyst to join our Finance team and support our global operations.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for the end-to-end management of financial data for all business units worldwide, including manufacturing sites and cost/profit centers in Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and India. They will play a key role in data integrity, financial analysis, and process improvement to support strategic decision-making.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
Financial Data Management and Production

  • Oversee the consolidation, validation, and maintenance of financial data from multiple business units and regions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI) to support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analyses.
  • Collaborate with regional finance teams to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, cost centers, etc.).
  • Lead projects for mapping, integrating, and migrating financial data between systems (ERP, BI tools, spreadsheets).

International Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between central finance and regional units to ensure alignment on performance indicators, cost structures, and reporting standards.
  • Support local teams in analyzing and using financial data to improve performance.
  • Standardize financial processes and reporting methods internationally.

Process Improvement and Systems Support

  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to data flows, tools, and reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with IT, ERP, and BI teams to automate and optimize financial data pipelines.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling initiatives by providing reliable datasets.

Strategic Financial Analysis

  • Analyze trends, variances, and profitability across product lines, markets, and regions.
  • Provide financial analyses to support strategic projects, investment decisions, and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with management to prepare case studies and performance analyses.

Desired Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, administration, or a related field (MBA or CPA an asset).
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or data-driven finance roles.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, multinational, or multi-entity environment (highly desirable).
  • Proficiency in Power BI for creating dashboards and financial visualizations.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with an ERP system (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • Experience integrating data and business intelligence tools.
  • Very good understanding of financial statements, cost accounting, and international financial practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in multicultural and remote teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data and communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
