The consultant will partner closely with merchandising leadership to help create scalable reporting processes, build dashboards and reports in Sigma, and leverage Snowflake and other BI tools to improve business decision-making.
This opportunity is ideal for an MBA student or recent graduate with strong analytical and technical skills who is interested in business intelligence, reporting strategy, merchandising analytics, and data-driven decision support within a fast-paced retail/eCommerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards and analytical tools using Sigma and other BI platforms
  • Support the merchandising and planning teams by creating scalable and sustainable reporting processes
  • Work with Snowflake and large datasets to extract, organize, and analyze business data
  • Translate business questions and merchandising needs into actionable reporting solutions
  • Validate reporting accuracy and ensure consistency across key metrics and dashboards
  • Analyze merchandising, assortment, promotional, and performance data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Develop reporting frameworks that improve visibility into business performance and support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, planning, analytics, and finance teams
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting requests and analytical deep dives
  • Create executive-ready summaries, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations
  • Support process improvement initiatives related to reporting automation and self-service analytics
  • Present project findings, reporting enhancements, and recommendations to leadership at the conclusion of the engagement

  • Currently pursuing an MBA or other postgraduate business degree preferred; recent graduates encouraged to apply
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with business intelligence tools, reporting platforms, or data visualization tools
  • Exposure to Sigma, Snowflake, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics/reporting technologies strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Ability to work with large datasets and translate data into meaningful business insights
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to partner with non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities within a fast-paced project environment
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and helping define scalable processes

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in retail, eCommerce, merchandising analytics, or business intelligence
  • Experience creating dashboards, reports, or analytical reporting frameworks
  • Exposure to data warehousing environments and self-service analytics tools
  • Experience supporting merchandising, planning, forecasting, or operational analytics functions
  • Prior consulting, internship, or project-based analytical experience
  • Familiarity with reporting automation and KPI development
