Senior GE Meridium APM Consultant

 

Position Summary

 

TRM is seeking an experienced Senior GE Meridium APM Consultant with hands-on experience implementing, configuring, supporting, and/or optimizing GE Meridium APM / GE Asset Performance Management solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Meridium APM platform and a solid understanding of asset performance, reliability, predictive maintenance, and asset-intensive operating environments.

Hands-on experience with GE Meridium APM / GE Asset Performance Management is required. Experience with GE SmartSignal is strongly preferred, particularly experience supporting predictive analytics, condition monitoring, anomaly detection, diagnostics, or predictive maintenance use cases. Experience in the Power Generation industry is also strongly preferred.

The engagement may initially be structured as a part-time or contract consulting opportunity, with the potential to expand depending on client requirements and project needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide functional and technical consulting expertise related to GE Meridium APM implementations and environments.
  • Assess client requirements and translate business, asset management, reliability, and maintenance objectives into Meridium APM solutions.
  • Configure, support, optimize, and troubleshoot Meridium APM applications and related functionality.
  • Support asset hierarchy development, asset criticality, risk assessment, reliability strategies, health indicators, and related APM processes.
  • Work with client stakeholders to understand existing asset management and reliability processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support integration of Meridium APM with enterprise systems, operational technology, historians, maintenance systems, and other data sources as applicable.
  • Assist with data analysis, validation, migration, and data quality activities supporting APM implementations.
  • Support development and optimization of asset health, reliability, risk, and performance models.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and recommendations related to asset performance and reliability practices.
  • Where applicable, support GE SmartSignal implementations and use cases, including predictive analytics, anomaly detection, diagnostics, failure prediction, and condition-based monitoring.
  • Collaborate with client engineering, maintenance, reliability, IT/OT, and operations teams.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, configuration documentation, process documentation, and user guidance.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to client teams as appropriate.
  • Support project leadership with technical recommendations, project planning, estimates, and identification of risks or dependencies.
  • Stay current with developments in Meridium APM, SmartSignal, asset performance management, reliability, and predictive maintenance technologies.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with GE Meridium APM / GE Asset Performance Management is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Meridium APM in a consulting, implementation, administration, configuration, support, or technical capacity.
  • Strong understanding of Asset Performance Management, reliability engineering, asset health, risk management, and maintenance strategies.
  • Experience working with asset-intensive organizations and complex enterprise environments.
  • Ability to work directly with clients and translate business requirements into practical technical or functional solutions.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and consulting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a project-based environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • GE SmartSignal experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience implementing, configuring, supporting, or optimizing SmartSignal predictive analytics.
  • Experience with predictive maintenance, condition-based monitoring, anomaly detection, diagnostics, or asset health analytics.
  • Power Generation industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting utilities, energy, oil & gas, manufacturing, chemicals, mining, or other asset-intensive industries.
  • Experience integrating Meridium with systems such as SAP, Maximo, OSIsoft PI, historians, SCADA, or other enterprise/operational technology platforms.
  • Experience with other Asset Performance Management platforms, including Hitachi APM, is a plus.
  • Experience with data integration, APIs, SQL, data modeling, or enterprise application architecture is a plus.
  • Experience leading client workshops, requirements sessions, solution design, or technical assessments is a plus.
