Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a direct hire opportunity for a Maximo Delivery Consultant in Armonk, NY. This opportunity is hybrid with occasional office onsite as needed and some travel.
Summary:
A Maximo Delivery Consultant is an experienced practitioner responsible for delivering Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and enterprise asset management (EAM) solutions. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with solid functional understanding to implement, configure, and optimize Maximo solutions for clients. The Maximo Delivery Consultant works under the guidance of senior leaders, contributing to successful project delivery, supporting solution design, and building client relationships while developing deeper advisory and leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver Maximo/MAS implementations, upgrades, and enhancements as part of project teams
* Participate in workshops, requirements gathering, and solution discussions
* Configure Maximo applications and support testing, deployment, and go-live activities
* Ensure quality deliverables aligned with client requirements and project scope
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical, functional, integration)
* Translate business requirements into Maximo configurations and functional designs
* Support solution design and architecture under guidance from senior consultants
* Assist with data migration, system integration, and testing activities
* Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution during delivery
* Build effective working relationships with client stakeholders
* Communicate progress, risks, and issues clearly to project leadership
* Support user training and adoption activities
* Contribute to reusable assets, accelerators, and knowledge sharing
* Support pre-sales activities such as demos, estimations, and proposal inputs
* Continuously build skills across Maximo and related technologies
REQUIREMENTS:
* College degree with 4-8 years of Maximo/EAM experience
* Certifications and MAS/OpenShift exposure are a plus
* Strong experience with Maximo/MAS (7.6.x and/or 9.x), including hands-on configuration across Work Management, Asset & Location Management, Preventive Maintenance, and Inventory/Procurement
* Familiar with workflows, escalations, domains, and security, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective configurations that deliver within project scope
* Proficient in integration capabilities, including Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) and REST/SOAP APIs, with exposure to ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle) and a foundational understanding of middleware patterns
* Experience supporting MAS deployments on OpenShift or cloud platforms, with working knowledge of containers, environments, and deployment pipelines
* Skilled in data and reporting, including data migration/loading tools (MIF, scripts) and reporting solutions like BIRT, with the ability to validate and reconcile data during implementations
* Working knowledge of automation scripting (Jython, JavaScript) and basic Java enables delivery of minor customizations and effective issue resolution
* Demonstrates strong understanding of EAM processes (work management, preventive maintenance, inventory) and experience aligning systems to business needs
* Exposure to asset-intensive industries such as utilities, manufacturing, and oil & gas, with knowledge of asset lifecycle practices
* Brings strong consulting skills, including analytical problem-solving, requirements gathering, and clear communication with technical and business stakeholders
* Supports user training, documentation, and adoption efforts while building strong client relationships at the working level
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
