About the role:

  • Provide global leadership for the strategy, governance, andcontinuousimprovementofComputerizedMaintenanceManagement Systems (CMMS)acrossthe manufacturing network, in close partnership with the Global Head ofMaintenance(Global Process Owner - GPO), and RegionalMaintenance& Reliability Leadsand supportthe implementation and execution of globalCMMSrelated programs(e.g.TAKAMI)and strategies across the manufacturing network.

  • Improve efficiency,process standardization,and performance management of maintenance execution by driving consistent CMMS work management practices andas CMMS Data Product Owner enablereliableandconsistent data captureandgovernance,andcreatedecision-readyinsights to support global/regional maintenance governance and continuous improvementenablinga strong global performance culture, explicitlylinkingtomeasurablebusinessoutcomes(e.g. backlogreduction, WOquality, assetuptime,sparepartsoptimization).

  • Strengthen compliance in CMMS usage across SAP PM, JDE, BMRAMand Maximo, ensuring alignment with global Engineering SOPs/standards,GxPand Finance-aligned requirements (e.g., spare parts management),data integrity,and inspection readiness.

How you will contribute:

  • Act as the global CMMS program and process lead for maintenance and reliability execution, accountable for deployment, change management, sustained stakeholder adoption and governance of global CMMS standards and practices at site level.

  • Partner closely with the Global Head of Maintenance (Global Process Owner GPO) and Regional Maintenance & Reliability Leads on global strategy/program leadership.

  • Define and drive harmonized CMMS work management standards (e.g., work order lifecycle and quality, planning and scheduling enablement, backlog management, job plans, task lists, work instructions, master data discipline, execution routines) to improve site efficiency and enable performance culture behaviors.

  • Support the development and continuous improvement of maintenance, calibration, spare parts management, and reliability documentation packages and SOPs to ensure standardization, compliance, and effective execution across sites, ensuring consistency between SOPs and CMMS configuration and data structure at site level.

  • Establish and maintain global CMMS process and data governance across SAP PM, JDE, BMRAM, and Maximo, including minimum global requirements, adherence monitoring, and structured gap-closure mechanisms.

  • Develop, maintain, and own the global roadmap and prioritization of CMMS enhancement opportunities as well as own accountability for assessing site CMMS maturity levels and defining targeted improvement roadmaps to close identified gaps across sites.

  • Ensure CMMS-enabled processes and records fully meet regulatory and engineering compliance expectations and are following global SOPs/standards; collaborate with regional/site teams and global engineering compliance functions to maintain audit readiness, while accountable for identifying, escalating, and driving corrective or preventive actions for key compliance risks (e.g. spare parts data, traceability, master data consistency).

  • Align CMMS processes with Finance and Supply Chain needs impacting maintenance operations (e.g., spare parts inventory management, maintenance cost transparency), ensuring end-to-end process and data integrity.

  • Coordinate with Global Digital/Information Technology and Operational Technology partners to ensure consistent CMMS data capture, system integration, validation status, and analytics as well as CMMS system enhancements, release planning, and continuous capability improvement.

  • Enable performance monitoring by supporting the definition and operationalization of CMMS-enabled key performance indicators, dashboards, and performance routines, and by coaching site teams on data-driven decision making.

  • Provide functional CMMS coaching/support to site maintenance teams and act as a facilitator for cross-site learning, best practice scaling, and structured issue resolution through regional and global leads. Create and own a structured capability building program including training, playbooks, maturity assessments, and coaching models as well as structured adoption planning and communication.

  • Govern the end-to-end Maintenance, Calibration & Spare Parts data product, ensuring trusted, validated, consistent, and usable data from CMMS through enterprise data platforms into the Global Maintenance Dashboard KPIs, including accountability for performance visibility and business-value realization as well as data quality improvement by proactive identification and resolution of data quality issues at source.

  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation by benchmarking industry best practices and guiding the evaluation and adoption of advanced CMMS technologies where value is demonstrated.

  • Support global maintenance assessments (e.g., LAMP), ensuring CMMS practices, data quality, and system usage are effectively evaluated; support the assessment outcomes and support tracking of the CMMS improvement actions and track closure of identified gaps across sites.

What you bring to Takeda:

  • Degree in engineering or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience) with extensive experience10+yearsin maintenance/reliability execution within regulated manufacturing environments.

  • Strong experience in CMMS process governance and multi-site deployment; hands-onexpertisewith SAP PM, JDE, BMRAMand/or Maximo preferred.

  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, structured problem solving, sound judgment, and ability tooperateeffectively in a complex, global, matrixed organization (aligned to the regional lead competency expectations in JD Maintenance and Reliability Engineering Regional Lead.docx).

  • Strong communicationskills (written and verbal), change management capability, and ability to coach site teamswith fluent businesslanguagein English.
