Job description

CTG is seeking to fill a Maximo Developer - MAS 9 position for our client.
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 5 months
Duties:
  • Develop, configure, customize, and maintain IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9) solutions.
  • Support Maximo 7.6.x environments and contribute to Maximo upgrade initiatives.
  • Develop and enhance applications using Java, JavaScript, and Python.
  • Design and maintain BIRT reports, REST APIs, and JSON integrations.
  • Work with Oracle 19c+ databases and support Maximo data and integration requirements.
  • Collaborate with business, technical, and management stakeholders to deliver solutions.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall development methodologies.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and deploy Maximo solutions in a delivery-focused environment.
  • Work onsite with cross-functional teams to support project objectives and deliverables.

Skills:
  • Strong experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9).
  • Hands-on experience with Maximo 7.6.x.
  • Proven experience supporting Maximo upgrades.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and Python.
  • Experience with BIRT reporting.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
  • Experience with Oracle 19c+ databases.
  • Familiarity with Liberty, Eclipse, and PuTTY.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Energy & Utilities industry experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with UI automation frameworks is a plus.

Experience:
  • 5-8 years of experience developing and configuring IBM Maximo solutions.
  • Strong hands-on experience with MAS 9 and Maximo 7.6.x environments.
  • Experience with Maximo upgrades, development, integrations, reporting, and customization.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver Maximo solutions in a project-focused environment rather than a support-only role.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent education and relevant professional experience may be considered.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
