Oral Surgery Dental Assistant – San Diego, CA

We’re seeking a dedicated Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to support our surgeon, enhance the patient experience, and grow with our team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced assistant or a motivated dental assistant looking to advance into the oral surgery specialty.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon during a variety of surgical procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms and maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols
  • Provide clear communication, patient education, and compassionate chairside support
  • Assist with pre-op and post-op care
  • Accurately document patient information and maintain confidentiality
  • Support a positive, efficient, team-centered workflow

Who We’re Looking For

  • Oral Surgery Assistant experience required
  • CPR certified (or willing to obtain within six months)
  • Interest in training for anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and radiology certifications
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multitask
  • Professional, reliable, and committed to high-quality patient care
  • Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
