Job description

Registered Nurse Operating Room

This position involves operating room nursing for various surgical procedures. Experience in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Craniotomy, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Dental Surgery is important. Candidates will manage combined Neurosurgery and OHNS procedures, as well as open and endoscopic surgical cases. Free flap reconstructive procedures are also included in the role. Interdisciplinary support is available, including interpretation services and radiology. Patient demographics will include adults and geriatric patients. Daily activities will involve handling cases such as appendicitis, hernia, obesity, and various cancers. Familiarity with laparoscopic, robotic, and open belly cases is critical. Candidates should possess knowledge of current standard operating room protocols and safety measures. Exceptional communication skills and teamwork abilities are essential for this role. Flexibility with assignments and willingness to float is required as needed.
