What is matrix design?

Matrix Design typically refers to the creation and structuring of matrix organizational systems, which are used to manage projects or operations by combining functional and project-based management. This approach helps organizations be more flexible and efficient, but also requires careful planning to avoid confusion and conflicts. Matrix Design specialists often work in organizational development, consulting, or management roles to help companies implement and optimize these structures.
