At Mathnasium, we believe every child can succeed in math. Our mission is to teach math in a way that makes sense to kids - building their confidence, understanding, and love for the subject.

With over 1,000 learning centers worldwide, our proprietary Mathnasium Method has helped transform the lives of students since 2002. We focus on results, relationships, and the long-term development of our students.

Why Work with Us:

We're passionate about helping kids thrive - and that starts with an amazing team. As an Assistant Center Director, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the success of our center by being the front line of parent communication, enrollment success, and local marketing.

We offer:

  • A rewarding leadership opportunity with real impact
  • A full-time, salaried position
  • A fun and supportive team culture
  • Ongoing professional development in education, sales, and communication
  • Access to all curriculum, tools, and training you need to succeed

Key Responsibilities:

  • This role emphasizes parent communication, enrollment, and community engagement, including:
  • Lead Follow-Up: Call, text, and email leads daily to schedule and conduct consultations, assessments, and center tours
  • Enrollment Closure: Communicate program benefits clearly, follow up promptly, and close enrollments with confidence
  • Parent Engagement: Build strong, ongoing relationships with parents and families; provide regular updates on student progress and celebrate milestones
  • Marketing Support: Assist in executing local marketing initiatives, school outreach, events, and community partnerships to drive new inquiries
  • Front Desk & Operations: Support front desk functions including scheduling, payments, data entry, and general operations
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside the Center Director to maintain a smooth-running, high-performing center
  • Instructional Support: Occasionally assist with instruction and assessments using the Mathnasium Method

Qualifications:

  • Outgoing and confident communicator with sales or customer service experience
  • Comfortable making phone calls, sending texts, and handling follow-up outreach
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple responsibilities
  • Passion for working with kids and families
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Strong math skills through Algebra I (training will be provided)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; marketing, education, business, or related field a plus
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required

Additional Requirements:

  • Must pass a math proficiency test
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Background check required

About the Role:

This is a full-time, in-center position. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and enjoys making a real difference through education and community connection.

Note:

Mathnasium centers are independently owned and operated. This position is for employment at a local franchise location and not with Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC.
