Job description

Pharmacy Technician Trainee Program

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking customer service-driven individuals with a passion for healthcare to join our Pharmacy Technician Trainee Program, set to begin September 28th, 2026!

What to expect:

  • Our 12-week training program in West Salem offers full pay ($16.50/hour) plus benefits! This in-house, accredited program provides the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to prepare for the national Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE).
  • Your training will include hands-on learning at our Holmen, Onalaska, and La Crosse area pharmacies.
  • Satisfactory completion of the trainee program, attaining certification, and successful WI registration as a Pharmacy Technician will allow movement up into a permanent Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) position with Gundersen with a wage of $19.05/hour!

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency + completion of Math and English competency (at time of interview)
  • Ability to work full-time (scheduled for 40 hours/week) with shifts including Day, PM and rotating weekend hours.
  • Ability to work at the following locations (rotating): West Salem, La Crosse, Holmen, and Onalaska.
