Job description

We're looking for teachers for in-person math instruction in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY and Larchmont, NY for the 2026-2027 school year. Most classes are on weekdays during after-school hours (after 3:00 pm), and some weekend classes. Classes are typically 1.5 hours long, and we aim to schedule multiple classes per evening/weekend for our teachers.


Responsibilities

  • Deliver lessons based on Logicus's curriculum and educational methodologies.
  • Engage students with varied teaching techniques, ensuring understanding of concepts and encouraging interactive participation.
  • Evaluate student performance through regular assessments.
  • Provide feedback to students and parents on progress.


Compensation

The compensation for this role ranges from $60 to $90 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This includes class instruction, any breaks/time in-between classes, and preparation. Typically, teachers teach one to three 1.5 hour classes per evening/weekend day session worked.


Qualifications
