A Math Tutor helps students with their math studies, either individually or in small groups. As a Math Tutor, your responsibilities and duties include assessing what mathematics material your students have mastered, where they need assistance, and how they learn best. You work patiently with your students, explaining and demonstrating the mathematics material they are learning in a variety of ways to help them understand it. Savannah Technical College is seeking qualified candidates for Adult Education High School Equivalency (HSE)/GED prep class instructors This program is grant-funded.Various Locations The instructor will be responsible for:
Duties include a flexible schedule of lecture, and the Adjunct Instructor must be willing to work split teaching shifts that might require split teaching days between campus locations. Must fully embrace the responsibility for maintaining an acceptable number of students within this program and also work diligently to maximize positive student outcomes.
