JOB DESCRIPTION: MAINTENANCE
Summary:
Maintenance is what keeps a business running smoothly. To deliver a great guest experience, a Maintenance Representative will make sure everything is working so guests are safe and comfortable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Complete minor repairs such as replacing ceiling tiles, filters, light bulbs, painting, repairs to pipe lines, toilets, sinks, kitchen and laundry equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance duties as assigned
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness of the exterior of the facility, entrance, grounds, parking lot, pool and exercise/sport facilities, including property signs and lighting
  • Ensure the security of inventory and assets such as tools, supplies, equipment, furniture, televisions, etc according to established procedures
  • Monitor efficiency of equipment and electrical systems, televisions, guest entrance/access doors and make minor repairs or replacements
  • Follow established safety procedures at all times, immediately reporting any health or safety incidents, malfunctioning equipment, security breaches or suspicious behavior to supervisor or manager on duty
  • Respond to guest complaints, special requests and take appropriate action to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Replenish supplies and inventory in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing waste
  • Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments according to established procedures, to ensure excellent quality and service
  • Complete any other duties or special projects as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Basic reading, writing and math skills
  • Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical skills, preventive maintenance procedures and reasonable understanding of building equipment and hand tools
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate with associates, management and guests
  • Frequent bending, stooping and kneeling, standing and walking for duration of shift
  • Lift, carry, push, pull items weighing up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays
