The Technology Implementation Lead delivers scalable data solutions that support Finance priorities while aligning with enterprise data strategy and North Star Architecture.
The Technology Implementation Lead operates across a range of complexity and scope. This range includes moderate initiatives to highly strategic programs. The Lead translates business needs into governed, production-ready data solutions. Additionally, the Lead ensures alignment with enterprise standards and enables trusted data for analytics, reporting, and operational use.
You will play a critical role in translating business strategy into scalable technical solutions and will focus on building cloud-first data solutions, data governance, and data foundations with leading best practices. Projects include, but not limited to, leading the implementation of data foundation capabilities across Data Quality, Metadata, and Reference Data Management, while also driving development of data assets within Databricks.
This position is ideal for a strong communicator who thrives in cross-functional environments and can clearly articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will regularly prepare and deliver executive-ready presentations, status updates, and recommendations that guide strategic decision-making.
The candidate must be able to work within the Eastern or Central Standard Time zones.

The Technology Implementation Lead gathers and translates business and data requirements into scalable solutions, influencing system design to ensure alignment with enterprise data standards and governance. You will lead implementation across the full lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and operationalization, while ensuring solutions meet both business and control requirements.

You will contribute to Databricks-based development (e.g., table builds, transformations, and optimization), partners with IT for implementation, and ensures readiness for production support.

The Lead also provides strategic guidance to leadership by identifying gaps in data foundation capabilities and recommending improvements aligned to Finance priorities.

This role will research and incorporate industry leading cloud practices related to Cloud data solutions, data governance and data foundations (Reference Data Management, Metadata, Data Quality) including:

  • Partnering with business and technology teams to define, implement, monitor, and remediate Data Quality controls and rules for critical Finance data assets.
  • Supporting implementation of metadata management practices including business glossary creation, data lineage documentation, catalog onboarding, stewardship alignment, and governance compliance.
  • Supporting onboarding and operationalization of reference data domains, partnering with data stewards and platform teams to establish governance, ownership, hierarchies, and lifecycle management processes.
  • Execute rapid prototyping to validate complex business requirements. You will work with IT to get requirements accurately implemented. Execute UAT testing and post-production validation.
  • Provide recommendations to leadership regarding data foundation priorities, implementation sequencing, capability gaps, risks, and opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Financial Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance or a related technical field
  • 5 or more years of total experience in financial systems or data solutions
  • 2 or more years of experience developing data solutions on Databricks or comparable cloud data platforms.
  • 2 or more years of project leadership experience
  • Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development Methodologies
  • Experience in IT business analysis, including artifacts development
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and frameworks
  • Experience translating business requirements into data models, transformations, and curated datasets
  • Experience working with data foundations, including Data Quality, Metadata, or Reference Data Management
  • Experience problem solving and consultation within complex environments
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams' efforts
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences, including executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field
  • Data related certifications on DataBricks
  • Intermediate to expert level SQL expertise
  • Data related certifications on any major cloud platform
  • Experience with tools such as BigEye, Reltio, Collibra/EDC, or similar platforms
  • Experience supporting healthcare-related data initiatives
  • Experience influencing or contributing to data governance operating models or committees

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
