Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Senior Finance Systems Analyst to join our team onsite in Holland, MI.

As a Senior Finance Systems Analyst, you will become a subject matter expert in business process and system improvement, leading the analysis, design, and implementation of enhancements that drive Finance transformation across Haworth. This unique role sits at the intersection of finance, technology, process improvement, data, and emerging AI capabilities, partnering closely with global Finance leaders, business teams, and GIS to modernize finance processes, support major system initiatives, improve data quality and analytics, and solve complex business challenges. Utilizing your expertise, you will mentor junior team members, influence key initiatives, and help foster a culture of continuous improvement while shaping the future of Finance at Haworth.

Essential Functions
  • Lead and manage complex process and/or system improvement projects, overseeing all aspects from planning to execution. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to execute.
  • Develop and implement process and/or system improvement strategies to support business objectives and drive operational excellence.
  • Mentor and develop junior process improvement professionals.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to other departments on process and/or system improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Conduct process and/or system audits to assess compliance with standards and identify areas for improvement while working collaboratively with cross functional teams.
  • Analyze process and/or system data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement while working collaboratively with cross functional teams.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, share best practices, and emerging technologies in process and/or system improvement.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Education Equivalency:
    • Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field plus 2 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, financial systems, ERP systems, business analytics, data analysis, process improvement, or technology-enabled Finance transformation, with progressively expanding responsibilities.
    • 4 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, financial systems, ERP systems, business analytics, data analysis, process improvement, or technology-enabled Finance transformation, with progressively expanding responsibilities.
    • Military Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/military 

Work Experience:  

  • 5 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, financial systems, ERP systems, business analytics, data analysis, process improvement, or technology-enabled Finance transformation, with progressively expanding responsibilities with a Bachelor's degree or,
  • 3 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, financial systems, ERP systems, business analytics, data analysis, process improvement, or technology-enabled Finance transformation, with progressively expanding responsibilities with a Master's degree.   

In addition:

  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 10 percent of the time.
  • Ability to work onsite in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional working experience in the furniture or manufacturing industry (mid to large size). 
  • Enterprise Finance systems experience.

  • Global process understanding.

  • System implementation and change management exposure. 

  • Experience/interest in AI enablement, automation, analytics, or agent-based workflow concepts. 

  • Python automation experience. 

  • Experience with integrated ERP systems.
