💰 MD: $128,000 – $185,000/year

As a Data Scientist III, you will:
• Extract insights from large datasets using math, stats, computer science, and domain knowledge
• Apply analytic modeling, statistical analysis, and programming techniques
• Evaluate data of varying format and quality
• Translate mission needs into technical requirements
• Communicate findings to non-technical audiences
• Stay current on NSA/CSS data capabilities and limitations 🔹 KEY SKILL AREAS (must have experience in at least 2)
1️⃣ Foundations: Mathematical, Computational, Statistical
2️⃣ Data Processing: Data curation, visualization, workflow, reproducibility
3️⃣ Modeling & Prediction: Data modeling, domain-specific assessment 🔹 QUALIFICATIONS
🎓 Bachelor’s with 10 years relevant experience OR Associate’s with 12 years
🎓 Degree must be in:
• Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, Computer Science
• Related disciplines (e.g., Engineering, Physics, Biology, Astronomy, Behavioral or Social Sciences) with 5+ advanced courses in math or CS
🎓 Degrees with only basic/elementary upper-level math do not qualify unless paired with a Certificate in Data Science from an accredited institution 🛠️ Relevant Experience Must Include One or More of the Following:
• Machine Learning Design/Implementation
• Data Science & Analysis
• Analytical Algorithm Development
• High-Level Programming (e.g., Python)
• Statistical Modeling (e.g., hypothesis testing, EDA, linear models)
• Data Cleaning/Transformation
• Data Mining
• Data Modeling & Assessment
• Artificial Intelligence
