Scope of Position
Material Handler IIIs play a critical role in supporting plant operations by receiving, storing, counting, issuing, and transacting equipment, materials, products, supplies, tools, and inventories. Reporting to the Regional Distribution Center Manager, you will ensure a continuous flow of materials throughout the supply chain, performing various tasks to maintain efficient and accurate operations.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Operate multiple types of material handling equipment, including fork trucks, reach trucks, and picker trucks.
  • Pick items according to established procedures and package and ship materials.
  • Use scanners for inventory transactions and perform cycle counts.
  • Conduct physical and scale counting to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Complete system transactions and procedures to maintain inventory records.
  • Ensure a flow of materials throughout the supply chain to support operations.
  • Perform physical inventories and assist with other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience in materials handling or warehouse operations.
  • Proficient math skills and basic computer skills for performing inventory transactions.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Physical capability to occasionally stand, sit, use hands to handle, feel, and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to pass a pre-hire drug test, including for marijuana.

Working Conditions
While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a Distribution Center facility. You will be required to work at the Company's Sparks location in Nevada. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.
