Jr. SAS Programmer 

Location: Alexandria, VA 

One year long contract

Pay rate: up to $22/ hour 

Interview process: phone, F2F

Must be US citizen, able to get a public trust


Why the clients needs this role? They are moving from COGNOS to SAS. Needs someone who knows SAS, can look at data, analyze it, pull data with both SAS and SQL. This person will be good in excel as well. Definitely a numbers/ data type person.

Client will hire an entry level person with a math degree, or statistics, etc. 


Responsibilities

-Write, maintain, and execute code required for systems in SAS and Transact-SOL languages.

-Create technical documents and process documentation and provide program and technical training to analysts and others working on the systems.

-Lead the development, maintenance and quality control of programming code.

-Integrate products and data with other information systems.

-Improve the scalability, accuracy, and automation of technical aspects of the systems.

Basic Qualifications:

1-3+ Years of SAS experience

1-3+ Years of SQL experience
