Northrop Grumman is seeking anAssociate Software Engineer/Software Engineer. This position will belocatedat our Aeronautics Systems Sector inMelbourne, FL.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman'sSoftware Engineeringdirectorate.
The selected candidate will design, develop, document, test and debug applications software and systems thatcontainlogical and mathematical solutions.Other duties include:
Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, andutilizationof electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
Analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programmingtechniquesand controls.
This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Software Engineer level (T01) or a Software Engineer level (T02).

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25out of 4.0 or higher
Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
Good presentation and writing/communication skills.
Self-motivated, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment.
Experience in developing and delivering presentations and leading small groups.
Experience in working in an autonomous work environment on complex projects.
Experience in working on business or engineering full life-cycle projects from projectinceptionthrough launch.
