The goal of this role is to support human performance monitoring, readiness evaluation, and program effectiveness through robust analytical and modeling efforts.
Essential Job Functions
  • Design, formulate, conduct, and lead complex analyses of individual- and population-level health surveillance, operational, and military records.
  • Provide statistical support for studies involving human performance, health outcomes, readiness, administrative data, and operational performance.

  • Draft technical reports, data visualizations, scientific journal publications, and briefings for USAFSAM leadership and stakeholders.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary teams to evaluate research questions, refine study designs, and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
  • Apply verification and validation protocols to ensure modeling integrity; troubleshoot and correct model performance as needed.
  • Support development of comprehensive data dictionaries, metadata, and documentation of all analytic code and methods.
  • Attend and contribute to professional conferences, prepare poster presentations, and submit manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer through internal briefings, technical documentation, and government customer engagement.

    • Proficiency in logical and set operations.
    • Capacity to learn and apply analytical platforms such as Tableau, SAS Viya, or Qualtrics.
  • Skills
    • Advanced analytical skills in statistical modeling, decision analysis, and longitudinal data analysis.

    • Ability to work independently or within a multidisciplinary team.
    • Organizational skills, initiative, and ability to manage multiple complex tasks.
  • Compliance
    • Must complete HIPAA training and handle identified medical data securely.
    • Must have a signed NDA submitted to the Government Program Manager before performance start

Highly Desired Qualifications
