What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising the operation function in the production of a high quality, food safety product.
  • Provide leadership on the operating floor striving for compliance in safety, health, environmental, and quality.
  • Manage and supervise all areas of Lakeside's Plant operations to ensure optimal performance.
  • Promote employee engagement and development to maximize production, quality, safety, and continuous improvement goals.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least three years of experience leading manufacturing or processing operations or eight years of experience in manufacturing or processing operations is required. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, drive performance, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • In depth knowledge of warehouse operations, quality control, safety standards, and resource management.
  • Familiarity with plant functions including facilities, logistics, and maintenance is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP a plus.
  • Experience working in a union environment is preferred.
