Job description

Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for a Material Handler in Smyrna, TN. This is a great opportunity to further your existing warehouse and material handling skills while learning new ones to assist you in your career. Responsibilities for a Material Handler include but are not limited to:

  • Load and unload materials onto and from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.

  • Move materials from storage and work areas to designated locations.

  • Ensure machine operators have the necessary raw materials to support production.

  • Stack, assemble, and band materials into bundles.

  • Remove empty pallets from equipment and production areas.

  • Assist with shipping and receiving duties as assigned.

 

Candidates for Material Handler must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • 2 to 5 years of warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred.

  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to work around moving machinery, loud noise, temperature variations, and other industrial conditions.
