Job description

Role Description The** Quality and Laboratory Engineer** is a full-time, on-site role based in Canton, MI. This role is responsible for performing laboratory testing on engineered resins, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, and analyzing test data to ensure products meet internal and customer quality standards. The engineer will develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures, support root cause analysis for nonconformities, and assist in continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and laboratory processes. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and documenting test samples, maintaining accurate records and reports, collaborating with R&D, production, and sales teams on technical issues, and supporting customer audits and technical inquiries. The role also involves adherence to safety protocols, participation in cross-functional projects, and contribution to process optimization in alignment with company quality objectives.Qualifications- Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, including data analysis, problem-solving, and interpretation of test results.
