Job description

Job Description
Material Control Planners review all new requirements and work in progress (WIP) material shortages, set material allocation transactions in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), issuance of Purchase Requisitions, work closely with Production Planners & Stock Room to release production kits, and facilitate the timely delivery of products to customer.
Responsibilities
  • Review Booking Sheet issued by Production Planner for new circuit/assembly ordered, creation of Work Order(s) and sets material allocation for all available stock
  • Analyze material availability for new requirements and/or production WIP shortages and generate purchase requisitions (PR) for required material for Procurement execution
  • Sets priority for inspection and stockroom for material needed to support Production Kit Schedule
  • Daily monitoring of material expedite reports & bi-weekly support of Kit scheduling meetings
  • Create Manual Receiver for CFM material and all material received against a specific Sales Order for release to incoming inspection/stockroom; maintains all CFM records and approval of allocation and material release
  • Review and approve all production material/consumable requests tied to the "Window Ticket" process to ensure material availability, mitigate repeat buys, and ensure reorder points are covered subsequently issue PRs to replenish stock where applicable
  • Maintain appropriate levels of raw material to support production requirements and inventory targets

  • 1 plus years of related experience is required
