Description
FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking a Material Handling Manager to lead material handling operations and coordinate internal logistics in support of manufacturing and production activities. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the Production/Operations Department in a production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.
The Material Handling Manager will oversee daily material flow, inventory control, warehousing, and line-side delivery operations, manage and develop material handling teams, and assist the Supply Chain Department as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all material handling, warehousing, receiving, kitting, and internal logistics operations.
  • Supervise, train, and develop material handling supervisors, leads, and associates across assigned shifts.
  • Coordinate material flow to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to production lines based on production schedules and BOM requirements.
  • Establish staffing plans and labor requirements to support production demand and operational priorities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation activities.
  • Oversee proper storage, handling, and tracking of materials to prevent damage, loss, or shortages.
  • Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Planning, Engineering, and Quality teams to align material availability with manufacturing needs.
  • Monitor and improve material handling processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements including OSHA and EPA standards.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and KPIs related to inventory accuracy, productivity, and material movement.
  • Utilize ERP/WMS/MES systems to track inventory, generate reports, and support data-driven decision making.
  • Identify equipment, racking, and tooling needs to improve material handling efficiency.
  • Provide clear written and verbal instructions to direct reports.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in material handling, warehousing, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior supervisory or management experience required.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a manufacturing/warehouse setting, as required.
