Job description

Assist with all phases of processing buyout merchandise from store lift to final disposition. Relay information between departments as it relates to buyout merchandise. The process may also include travel related to acquisitions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Travel and assist with acquisition projects as needed.

Receive inbound lifts and ship outbound supplies and RGS's.

Utilize the buyout sorting process to determine the disposition for all merchandise.

Accumulate and stage buyout supplies.

Process all buyout merchandise requiring reboxing or relabeling and assist vendor reps so they can perform their reboxing duties.

Utilize the buyout scanning process to batch merchandise to DC inventories.

Maintain communication with the management team and vendors.

Maintain safety standards while operating and identify unsafe practices and situations.

May be designated as a trainer for the DC target training program ensuring that all training is conducted according to schedule and that all documentation is complete. Trainers are responsible for explaining specific job duties and functions to help ensure the success of new team members and to convey any departmental or procedural changes to existing team members.

All other duties as assigned.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Required:

Basic computer skills

Must be able to multitask and work well in a team environment

Must be able to read and match both numerical and alphabetical characters quickly and accurately

Ability to travel on an as needed basis

Desired:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Advanced computer skills

Prior knowledge of automotive products

Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
