THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate for our client located Brantford, ON. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent opportunity. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse through safe forklift operation, accurate order handling, and efficient material management.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport, load, and unload materials and equipment within the facility
  • Operating Combi forklifts
  • Move and stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
  • Check loads are secure and stack empty pallets properly
  • Perform daily equipment checks and maintain powered industrial trucks
  • Maintain clean, safe work areas and accurate inventory records
  • Follow all safety procedures while handling materials


Qualification:

  • Minimum 3 years of forklift experience in a warehouse or industrial setting
  • Forklift certification required
  • Combi experience needed
  • Strong sense of balance and eye-hand-foot coordination
  • Ability to assess weights, judge distances and heights, and safely handle heavy materials
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures and able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
  • Attention to detail and a conscientious approach to safety and material handling
