Job description

A dynamic third-party logistics company (3PL) in the West Valley specializing in all aspects of supply chain management is looking to hire Material handler.

Pay $18.50 p/h

Monday-Friday - 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Location: Phoenix, AZ

Summary 

Responsible for maintaining accurate warehouse inventory through cycle counting, operating forklifts and warehouse equipment, and ensuring products are safely handled, stored, and shipped. Follows GMP, safety, and company procedures while supporting efficient warehouse operations and LEAN initiatives.

Essential Duties 
  • Perform regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and research/resolution of inventory discrepancies.
  • Operate forklifts, stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, and WMS systems to move, receive, store, and ship products.
  • Maintain accurate lot numbers, production dates, product rotation, pallet placards, and inventory records.
  • Manage product holds, releases, recoup, donation, and destruction processes according to customer and company guidelines.
  • Assist with audits, inspections, recalls, inventory transfers, and efficiency studies.
  • Read customer orders and accurately select and move products.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse; report safety hazards and unauthorized personnel.
  • Follow all GMP, food-grade, safety, and company procedures.
  • Participate in safety meetings, training, LEAN initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Train other associates as assigned and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Perform general warehouse/facility tasks and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications 
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of related warehouse experience preferred.
  • Basic warehouse math and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with RF scanners, WMS, and warehouse equipment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, organization, time management, and follow-through.
  • Ability to adapt, take direction, receive feedback, and work independently.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
Physical & Work Requirements 
  • Frequent standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, and climbing.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent forklift/stand-up forklift operation.
  • May work around heights up to 20 feet, varying temperatures, fumes, airborne particles, and moving equipment.
  • May require overtime and work at multiple company locations.
