About the job:
The Material Handler supports warehouse and production operations by moving materials, handling recyclables, and staging inventory as directed. This role involves physical labor, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
We're looking for someone who:
• Has the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Can stand for prolonged periods and work on ladders
• Has good manual dexterity
• Works well under close supervision
• Can follow both verbal and written instructions
• Functions effectively in a team environment
What you'll do:
• Collect, sort, and transport recycling from production areas
• Flatten cardboard and prep recyclable materials
• Load and unload pallets from trailers
• Stage materials in warehouse lanes as instructed
• Move materials to production and other designated areas
• Package and unpack materials as needed
• Inspect items for defects, wear, or damage
• Report findings and updates to the warehouse manager
• Maintain records of damaged stock and equipment
• Perform additional tasks as assigned
