Job description

Join our growing team in aerial construction! We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Ground Hand to assist with aerial fiber/utility construction projects. This position supports crews in the field by handling materials, traffic control, equipment setup, and maintaining a safe work environment.

The position offers:

  • Responsibilities:This position is responsible for the following tasks:
  • Assist aerial construction crews on job sites
  • Load/unload tools, materials, and equipment
  • Support pole line and fiber installation operations
  • Perform traffic control and site cleanup
  • Follow all company safety procedures
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Maintain minimum benchmarks on client and company performance metrics.
  • Help with field training of new employees who are going through the company training program.
  • Carry out all work performed in the safest possible manner, following all internal safety guidelines and requirements.
  • Maintain all assigned assets such as test meter, safety equipment, ladders etc.
  • Manage, track, and organize client equipment and small parts. Must be able to account for the usage of all equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle. Ensure all routine maintenance is completed timely and any problems with vehicles are immediately reported to local management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Requirements:
  • Must have a valid driverโ€™s license and meet company MVR qualifications
  • Ability to pass a nationwide background check and drug screen
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Have a general working knowledge of computers.
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Physical Demands:
