Matagorda Regional Medical Center (MRMC) in Bay City is a 58-bed hospital that is part of an 11-acre medical campus. The Center is accredited by the Joint Commission for hospital and laboratory services. Our list of area medical services includes many board-certified physicians in numerous specialties, from cardiac disease and nephrology to internal medicine and pediatrics. In 2009, MRMC completed a state-of-the-art facility which provides medical services in a variety of specialties for county residents.

The hospital is a qualified FQHC facility and does qualify for loan forgiveness.



  1. The Ob/Gyn department delivers about 30/40/mo. (400 per year). Split evenly between the 3 OB's
  2. 4 LDR
  3. 4 CRNA's 24-hour coverage
  4. 4 fully equipped and staff OR's (no need for block time).
  5. Each doctor sees about 15–18 patients per day in the Ob/Gyn clinic.
  6. Call Schedule? 1/4 for OB.
  7. If a patient needs transfer, they typically go to Women's Hospital in Houston or 
  8. Texas Children's for pediatrics. 35 weeks or fewer will be transferred to Houston.
  9. Only 20% are C-Sections. They don't schedule VBACS.
  10. We have Remote Monitoring for mother and baby on your cell phone APP.
  11. All admissions and patient rounding can be handled by Hospitalists team.


Compensation:

· Salary: $350k Base Salary for 3 years

· Signing Bonus

· Production bonus of $57 per RVU over threshold.

· Call Coverage Compensation

· Mid-Level Oversight Bonus

· Paid Time Off — 6 weeks per year

· Loan Forgiveness
