Job description

Racing is where our story began.
In 1901, Henry Ford climbed into a car he built himself-"Sweepstakes"-and beat America's most famous driver. He wasn't a racer, but he had to win. He did. Ford Motor Company was born from that victory.
That fighting spirit lives on in Ford Racing today. We're the engineers, strategists, and competitors who bring Ford's track-tested edge into every vehicle we build. Every track, every stage, every proving ground-that's where we prove ourselves.
The result: one of the world's most iconic brands, legendary nameplates, and a team unmatched in the industry.
Our mantra: Race to win, engineer to lead.
If you're a competitor, innovator, or performance obsessive, Ford Racing is where you belong. Help us write the next chapter.
In this position...
As the Off-Road Experiences Manager, you will lead the development, execution, and expansion of Ford's global Off-Road Driving Experiences, including Bronco Off-Roadeo, Raptor programs (such as Raptor Rally), and Ford Off-Road Adventures.
This role requires a strategic, organized, and collaborative manager who can successfully balance the operational execution of existing foundational programs with the design and launch of new initiatives to expand the portfolio. You will manage program operations and strategic partnerships, while directly leading and developing a team of direct reports to achieve business plan and customer engagement objectives. Your focus will be on driving customer engagement, deepening brand loyalty, and enhancing driving skills through our off-road programs.
This role is hybrid and requires at least 4 days per week onsite in Allen Park, MI.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do...
  • Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of Ford's Off-Road Driving Experiences, balancing the ongoing operational success of existing programs with the launch of new initiatives.
  • Manage and develop a team of direct reports, setting clear performance goals, conducting regular reviews, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
  • Oversee relationships and performance for key partners and external vendors to ensure strict adherence to brand guidelines, operational standards, and financial targets.
  • Guide the creation and continuous improvement of off-road and overlanding curricula, leveraging market insights, consumer research, and competitive trends.
  • Direct program-level operational processes, logistical planning, and on-site execution standards to ensure seamless, premium customer experiences.
  • Lead global market coordination and alignment, collaborating with regional teams to scale and localize off-road experience initiatives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Communications, Marketing, and Dealer Relations to integrate off-road experiences into broader brand portfolios and product launch strategies.
  • Develop, manage, and forecast program budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are optimized.
  • Oversee the tracking of program metrics, customer feedback, and data capture to evaluate performance, measure ROI, and present strategic recommendations to leadership.
  • Collaborate with digital and CRM teams to optimize the customer journey, ensuring a seamless registration-to-event pipeline that effectively transitions vehicle buyers into brand advocates.

Qualifications
You'll have...
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, related field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in customer experience, marketing, or program management.
  • 7+ years of experience in the Motorsports or Off-Road/Outdoor industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of market dynamics.
  • 3+ years of direct people management experience, including coaching and team development.

Even better, you may have...
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field.
  • Experience executing and scaling customer-facing experiential programs or events.
  • Experience managing third-party vendor relationships and service level agreements.
  • Experience tracking and managing project- or program-level operational budgets.
  • Proven track record of designing, piloting, and launching new experiential portfolios or business initiatives from the ground up.
  • Experience negotiating complex contracts, managing multi-partner alliances, or working with public and private land-use agencies.
  • Experience developing long-term financial forecasts, managing capital allocation, and optimizing ROI across a portfolio of programs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to leadership and diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for Ford products, off-roading, and delivering high-quality customer experiences.

As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home? Will your career be a deep dive into what you love, or a series of new teams and new skills? Will you be a leader, a changemaker, a technical expert, a culture builder...or all of the above? No matter what you choose, we offer a work life that works for you, including:
  • Immediate medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage.
  • Flexible family care days, paid parental leave, new parent ramp-up programs, subsidized back-up child care and more.
  • Family building benefits including adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, fertility treatments, and more.
  • Vehicle discount program for employees and family members and management leases.
  • Tuition assistance.
  • Established and active employee resource groups.
  • Paid time off for individual and team community service.
  • A generous schedule of paid holidays, including the week between Christmas and New Year's Day.
