Position: Civic and Public Administration Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50–$60/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

  • Construct public-sector scenarios for large-scale budget appropriations, multi-agency coordination, and complex regulatory or legislative review cycles.
  • Build civic tasks in public policy analysis, constituent services delivery, intergovernmental relations, public communications, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop scenarios using tools like government ERP/case management systems, public records platforms, GIS systems, and CRM tools.
  • Apply public administration frameworks such as policy impact analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and stakeholder engagement models.
  • Author rubrics to distinguish authentic public-sector judgment from generic bureaucratic recall.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 5+ years in a senior role at a federal, state, or large municipal government agency, or within a major public policy, civic tech, or intergovernmental organization.
