Job Description:
Under the supervision and in collaboration with the course coordinator, the TA will help teach, motivate, and engage nurses pursuing their bachelor's degree on the topics of evidence-based practice, research methods, and knowledge translation. The TA will be expected to: (1) embrace learner-centered approaches to teaching; (2) mobilize students, guest speakers, and resources to offer exciting presentations, readings, and approaches to learning research, and discussions of research findings of relevance to nursing; and (3) be open and well versed in different research designs and methods. The TA will participate in teaching and the evaluation of students in the course.
