Job description

Location: Sarasota Memorial Hospital, 2600 Laurel Road East, North Venice
Work Hours: (7) 24 hour shifts in 2 weeks. Must be within 30 minutes from the hospital.
**$15,000 for New Grad or $30,000 Sign on Bonus for those candidates that qualify and have 3+ years of Level III or IV NICU APP experience**
The neonatal nurse practitioner or Physician Assistant is an advanced practice provider who demonstrates expertise in the clinical management of the neonate and infant. The provider role is multi-faceted and includes clinical management of the high-risk neonate and infant, educational responsibilities, administrative duties, consulting, and initiating/implementing research. The neonatal nurse provider works in collaboration with medical, nursing and support services to provide family centered care. The neonatal nurse provider maintains active participation in his/her own continued education and professional development.
Requirements:
  • Clinical Master's Degree in Nursing or DNP, Masters in Physician Assistant Studies
  • Current Florida State Licensure as APRN or a PA.
  • Current BLS and PALS (NRP in lieu of PALS if NNP).
  • Current Licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse/Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, or PA.
  • Current National Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or a PA.
  • Requires 3 years of Level III or greater NICU APP experience.

Salary Range: Minimum 53.58/hour - Maximum 83.05/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
