Green, PLLC is a certified Minority and Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) through regional agencies in North and South Central Texas and the Southwest Minority Supplier Development Council. Founded in 2005, the firm focuses on serving workersโ€™ compensation insurance carriers and third-party administrators across Texas. Based in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area, the firm represents workersโ€™ compensation insurance carriers, self-insured entities, and third-party administrators before the Texas Division of Workersโ€™ Compensation. Team members support a practice that values diversity, professional integrity, and effective advocacy for clients in the workersโ€™ compensation field.

Role Description The Legal Administrative Assistant is a full-time or part-time, on-site role located in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. The role involves supporting attorneys with medical organization, medical summaries, legal document preparation, organizing case files, and maintaining accurate records and calendars. Daily tasks include drafting and formatting correspondence and legal documents, managing incoming and outgoing mail, scheduling hearings and meetings, and coordinating communication with clients, carriers, and third-party administrators. The Legal Administrative Assistant will also handle routine administrative duties such as data entry, file management (electronic and paper), and basic office support to ensure efficient operation of the firmโ€™s workersโ€™ compensation practice.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of law and workersโ€™ compensation procedures, with the ability to understand basic legal concepts relevant to case management.
  • Proficiency in legal document preparation, including drafting, formatting, and reviewing legal correspondence and forms.
