InterCommunity is a Federally Qualified Healthcare Look a Like based in East Hartford, Connecticut. For over 45 years, InterCommunity has offered full healthcare services to those in central CT ranging from primary care, family and school-based healthcare, mental and behavioral health care, and addiction recovery services. 


Our staff of talented and passionate licensed providers, clinicians, and nurses are looking to mentor, educate, and precept the next generation of incoming nurses and nurse practitioners/professionals. We are looking for talented students who are looking for hands-on experiences with providers, clinicians, nurses, residential support staff, and most importantly, clients to enrich their academic experience and fulfill any requirements they may have to complete their academic career.

  • Must be currently enrolled in an academic program and or institution in pursuit of the following degrees or licenses:
  • BSN, Masters in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner (FNP, GNP, PMHNP, MHNP), Registered Nurse (RN) and APRN or equivalent/related 
  • Must be currently enrolled in an academic institution, university, or college that currently affiliates or is willing to complete legal affiliation with Intercommunity
  • Must be willing to provide attestation for current medical or health records
