Job description

A leading global private markets investment firm is seeking a Director of Finance to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with finance and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, maintain financial models, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Maintain and enhance financial models, including scenario analysis.
  • Prepare management, board, and stakeholder financial reporting, including variance analysis and performance commentary.
  • Develop and monitor key business metrics and performance indicators.
  • Support profitability analysis, business unit reporting, and allocation models.
  • Collaborate with business leaders on forecasting assumptions and planning activities.
  • Assist with business valuation, strategic planning, and corporate finance initiatives.
  • Analyze assets under management (AUM) and related performance drivers.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling to support business decisions.
  • Contribute to process improvements across FP&A reporting and modeling activities.
Qualifications
  • 5-8+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial modeling, accounting, or related fields.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Professional designations (CPA, CFA, MBA) are considered an asset.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and management reporting experience.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience working with large datasets, data visualization tools, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
