You want to inspire critical thinking, encourage meaningful discussion, and help students connect theory to practice in ways that prepare them for the realities of today's business world. Your expertise and mentorship will directly influence the careers and confidence of diverse learners pursuing their MBA.

Academic excellence and continuous growth. You will join a collaborative academic community that values innovation in teaching, scholarship, and lifelong learning. Flexibility with connection. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to balance focused work with meaningful in-person collaboration. You will engage with students and colleagues on campus while leveraging educational technologies to create dynamic learning experiences across online, blended, and face-to-face environments.

A meaningful contribution to accessible education. At Yorkville University, education is designed for learners balancing careers, families, and other commitments. You will play an important role in creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment that removes barriers, celebrates diverse perspectives, and empowers students to achieve their academic and professional goals.

As our new MBA Faculty, Business, you will:

  • Facilitate engaging learning experiences. • Champion student success. You will provide timely, meaningful feedback that helps students grow throughout their academic journey. Through regular communication, office hours, and proactive outreach, you will foster engagement, monitor student progress, and connect learners with the resources they need to achieve their goals.
  • Contribute to curriculum excellence. You will collaborate with academic leaders and fellow faculty to strengthen and enhance the MBA curriculum. You will share insights from your teaching and professional practice, helping ensure courses remain current, academically rigorous, aligned with program outcomes, and relevant to today's evolving business landscape.
  • Collaborate across the academic community. You will work closely with colleagues across the Faculty of Business and the broader University to create a consistent, high-quality student experience. You will contribute to program reviews, academic initiatives, and committee work while helping foster a collaborative, learner-centred culture.

You will actively engage in scholarly activity, professional development, and reflective teaching practices that strengthen your expertise and enrich the learning experience. By participating in faculty development, contributing to scholarship, and staying connected to industry and academic trends, you will help ensure our programs continue to evolve alongside the changing business environment.

You have:

  • The academic credentials. You hold a terminal degree in a relevant business discipline (such as a DBA, DM, or PhD) and have the expertise required to teach at the graduate level. You bring current knowledge of your field and are committed to maintaining academic and professional excellence through ongoing scholarship and professional development.
  • The teaching experience. You have experience delivering engaging, learner-centred instruction in post-secondary education. You know how to create inclusive learning environments, facilitate meaningful discussions, provide thoughtful feedback, and help students connect theory with real-world business practice across online, blended, and in-person learning environments.

Compensation: $110,000 CAD.
