As an Integration and Test Engineer, you will be at the heart of our systems engineering lifecycle - leading integration efforts, executing rigorous testing campaigns, and validating the performance of some of the most advanced technologies in the field. You'll own the development and execution of detailed test plans, procedures, and schedules, ensuring every system meets its mission with precision.

Essential Job Responsibilities
• Lead system integration and verification/validation testing to ensure mission-ready performance.
• Support technical planning and evaluations of alternatives including cost and risk, supportability, and manufacturability.
• Communicate technical and programmatic updates with clarity and confidence.
• Identify, articulate, and manage risks before they become roadblocks.
• Build and maintain strong internal and external partnerships.
• Collaborate across electrical, mechanical, software, and test engineering teams to produce cohesive, innovative system designs.
• (Level 5) Provide technical leadership and mentorship that inspires excellence and cultivates engineering talent.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience supporting government contracts.
  • Strong technical intuition and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to anticipate system challenges and understand their broader programmatic impacts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including engagement with government stakeholders, company leadership, and multidisciplinary subject matter experts.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
  • Hands-on experience developing and executing system-level and component-level test plans, plus leading integration activities.

Level-specific education and experience requirements:
  • Level 3: 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • Level 4: 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
  • Level 5: 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.

Preferred Requirements
  • Master's degree or Ph.D.
  • Experience with Open Systems Architectures.
  • Background with defense hard-tech primes or major subs.
  • Hands-on experience with laser systems, power systems, or thermal/cooling systems.
  • Familiarity with system safety, reliability, and maintainability engineering.
  • Experience managing tasks within budget and performing risk management activities.
  • Background in hardware and software systems engineering.
  • Experience with hardware and software systems engineering.
  • Prior work on Department of Defense contracts or testing ranges.
  • Active Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements
Office, industrial, or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving materials may be required.
