JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Golisano Children's Hospital ('GCH') Strategic Implementation Administrator ('SIA') is a high-impact role responsible for working with pediatric faculty, physicians, APPs, staff and leaders to launch new and expanding child health programs aligned with overall mission and values of the GCH at UVM Health and UVM. Operating at the intersection of mission, strategy, innovation, advanced project management, financial stewardship and multi-party communications, the SIA translates resources into concrete, measurable, and well executed realities. The SIA is a specialist in program management and implementation and utilizes a structured methodology to plan and implement projects; and when required, analyzes organizational systems and processes and makes recommendations for operational improvements. The SIA will support analytic analysis, business planning, and modeling, in support of projects and deliverables for the GCH at UVM Health and our programs. The ideal candidate must work well with teams and leaders from clinical, administrative, IS (Information Services), support departments and partners (donors, child serving organizations). The position requires a high level of critical thinking and operates independently on projects and initiatives while providing updates to key stakeholders. The SIA can drive change among groups with competing priorities and demands on their time, has mastery of the portfolio, budgets, strategic goals, and desired metrics. The SIA is adept at stakeholder management across complex, matrix organizations, with funders and the community at large.
EDUCATION:
Master's Degree preferred in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), or other related Masters.
Bachelor's Degree required.
EXPERIENCE:
5-7+ years progressive experience in healthcare setting
Experience implementing clinical and/or community programs in clinic/ hospital/nonprofit settings.
Experience working with both administrative (business, philanthropy) and clinical leadership.
Experience developing strategic plans for clinical programs and/or community organizations. Experience developing and delivering presentations to executive leadership and community stakeholders.
Track record of successfully delivering complex and multi-disciplinary strategic projects from inception to sustained execution.
This is a grant funded position.
