Full Consideration Date:

Signing Bonus:

This position does not qualify for a signing bonus.

Salary Range:

$76,000 to $95,000, annually, (salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications)

Essential Job Duties:

The instructor will lecture, conduct office hours, administer exams and quizzes, develop assignments, and establish and apply grading rubrics (either directly, or with the help of undergraduate teaching assistants (UTAs) that the instructor supervises).

Conditions of Employment:

Pre-employment criminal background check (required for new hires)

Supervision:

This position reports directly to the Chair of the Department of Computer Science. This position supervises allocated UTAs, appropriately assigned based on course(s) taught.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Masters of Science degree in computer science or closely related field (e.g. Data Science, Data Analytics, Science Education or Philosophy) by start date of employment.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience teaching large sections of a variety of computer science courses.

  • Experience teaching students of all backgrounds.

  • Ph.D. in computer science and/or industrial experience.
