Mountain Springs Wellness & Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Counselor (LPC) to join our remote team in Frisco, Texas. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to provide essential mental health support through a variety of therapeutic interventions, fostering the emotional and psychological growth of our diverse clientele. We offer a competitive salary range of USD 87,000 – 105,000 yearly, with a SIGN-ON BONUS available for qualified candidates.

This remote position allows you to work flexibly from anywhere while being an integral part of our outpatient office team. Our collaborative approach involves working alongside primary care providers and specialists to ensure holistic care for patients. You will have the chance to engage in virtual sessions, conduct evaluations, and contribute to patient care plans from the comfort of your home.

As a Licensed Clinical Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough patient intakes including diagnostic evaluations and functional assessments to identify individual treatment goals.
• Providing brief, targeted interventions for patients requiring mental health services, including individual or group therapy sessions.
• Collaborating closely with primary care providers to discern treatment plans and referring patients to specialty mental health facilities when necessary.
• Monitoring patient progress and developing relapse prevention plans to ensure continuity of care.
• Documenting patient progress accurately in the treatment chart, ensuring compliance with agency and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) guidelines.
• Facilitating behavioral health care coordination to enhance access to services, effectively linking patients with other required treatment providers.
• Educating patients on self-management skills that empower them in their recovery journey.
• Consulting with clinic management and fellow team members on behavioral service offerings and potential program enhancements.

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a closely related field.
• Active LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license in the state of Texas.
• Proficient understanding of mental health assessment, treatment planning, behavioral therapy techniques, and the DSM-IV diagnoses.
• Ability to utilize psychodiagnostics effectively while having a solid grounding in systems and methods used in family and group therapy.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain comprehensive patient records.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and colleagues.

While not mandatory, the following experience and skills are preferred and would enhance the candidate's effectiveness in this role:

• Fluency in both English and Spanish to better serve our diverse community.
• Experience in a primary care setting or integrated healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of community resources and referral processes specific to behavioral healthcare.
