Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Engineer who combines strong technical expertise with excellent customer-facing skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in specialty chemicals or related industries, a passion for solving complex technical challenges, and the ability to support customers with innovative solutions that drive business growth.
What will you be doing?
  • Provides customers with on-site process expertise, chemical change implementation, monitoringand hands-on process control assistance for the manufacture of printed circuit boards
  • Understands and articulates PCB chemical functions and related process requirements tocustomers
  • Performs regular health checks and process audits for various production processes at customersites, generates reports and reviews with end users
  • Assists with regular lab testing functions/analysis with customer lab personnel and providestraining, when necessary, on best practice functions, tests and analysis.
  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment and or process problems and provides hands-on supportto correct problems and optimize customer manufacturing processes.
  • Adheres to plant and corporate safety policies.
  • May assist in other areas or perform other duties as required by fluctuating business needs.
  • Coordinates daily activities with territory Account Manager and Business Director
  • Is an expert and steward for customer final product quality using MacDermid products
  • Identifies opportunities for growth at all customer locations
  • Assists with the monitoring and control of on-hand inventory at customer site
Who are You?
  • Bachelors (required) or Masters (preferred) in Chemistry or related field
  • Strong understanding of chemistry and chemical interaction within the PCB manufacturing process
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and periodically to accounts in North America Eastern Region
  • Six Sigma knowledge would be good but not required, company training available

The typical base salary range for this position is anticipated to be between $95,000 and $143,000 annually.
