Job Description

The School of Business at the University of Indianapolis seeks applicants for an Instructor in Practice for the joint program at NingboTech University in Ningbo, China. NingboTech is a Chinese university situated in the Ningbo Higher Education Zone. Ningbo is a coastal city with excellent transportation, restaurants, shopping and easy access by high-speed train to Shanghai. The Instructor of Business will be responsible for teaching classes in English in various business disciplines.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

  • Preference will be given to candidates with significant professional experience in business. Previous teaching experience and quality teaching, as well as experience in overseas teaching are desirable.

Education

  • A minimum of an MBA or a master’s degree in a business-related field.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Follow the guidance and direction of supervisor(s)
  • Demonstrate respectful, ethical, responsible behavior.
  • Abide by the University’s policies, procedures, and rules.
