Position Summary: The Business Analytics and Insights Analyst partners with leaders across Operations, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Insurance, and other business functions to provide analytical support that drives strategic and operational decision‑making. This role is responsible for evaluating business performance, identifying opportunities, supporting planning activities, and delivering actionable insights that help improve organizational outcomes. As a versatile member of the Business Insights and Data Analytics team, the Business Insights Analyst works across a broad range of initiatives including business analysis, forecasting, performance management, reporting, process improvement, and special projects, helping stakeholders make data-informed decisions that support growth, efficiency, and exceptional patient care.


Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Decision Support



  • Analyze business, financial, and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and key drivers.

  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations that support strategic and operational decision‑making.

  • Conduct business case analyses, opportunity assessments, and root cause investigations to evaluate performance and inform decision‑making.

  • Support stakeholders in evaluating the effectiveness and impact of key business initiatives.


Business Planning & Performance Management



  • Support forecasting, budgeting, business planning, and performance management activities.

  • Assist in developing analytical frameworks and performance measures that support organizational objectives.

  • Monitor and evaluate results to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and operational improvement.


Reporting & Insights



  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations that support business objectives.

Qualifications

Required:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 3-7 years of experience in analytics, BI, finance, forecasting, reporting, or related analytical functions.

  • Proven experience developing reports, dashboards, and business analyses that drive decision‑making.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.


Preferred:



  • Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as PBI, Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms.

  • Experience supporting forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, or operational performance management.

  • Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, or data warehouse environments.

  • Exposure to statistical analysis, predictive modeling, or advanced analytical techniques.

  • Healthcare, retail, or multi‑location operations experience.
